Triple Eight Distillery is holding its 6th annual Bartender’s ball in September of 2007. Bartender Ball “Blind Faith” Tickets available soon.

Triple Eight Distillery is holding its 6th annual Bartenders ball on September 10th 2007. This year's event is sure to be another legendary party. Bartenders from all over the country will be serving our products to win trips to Nantucket! Transportation from Hyannis, MA and lodging is included.

This year we have decided to incorporate all of our products into the tally to calculate who wins. So pick up all of our offerings and get in the spirit!

The contest will run from April 1st-August 8th at 8pm (8/8@8).
We will tally all sales of Triple Eight Vodka, Triple Eight Orange, Triple Eight Cranberry, Hurricane Rum, Gale Force Gin, Nor'Easter Bourbon, Cisco beers and Nantucket Vineyard wines.
The following formula will determine how many VIP Bartender ball tickets each restaurant will receive.

Formula:

Triple Eight Vodka: 6pack/case = 1point
Triple Eight Orange: 6pack/case= 1point
Triple Eight Cranberry: 6pack/case=1point
Hurricane Rum: 6pack/case= 1point
Gale Force Gin: 6pack/case= 1 point
Nor'Easter Bourbon 6pack/case= 1 point
Cisco Beers (Whale's Tale/Sankaty Light 12 oz) 5 cases=1 point
Whale's Tale and Sankaty Light Draught 4 kegs=1point
Whale's Tale and Sankaty Light Draught 8 logs=1point
Cisco Big Bottles 25.4 oz all varieties 3 cases=1 point
Nantucket Vineyards (all varieties) 1 case=1 point

Your 1st 12 points wins a trip for 2 to Nantucket! Every 8 points there after allows you to bring another person.

Example: Score 28 points and you can bring 4 people!

The best way to boost your totals is to inform your entire staff of this promotion. Educate them on these fine local products produced on Nantucket. Teach them to upsell, you will see increases in bar revenues and win more trips to Nantucket! Incorporate the spirits into your drink menus. Feature them on daily special inserts. When you do it always helps to mention "Product of Nantucket". People love local products, we just need to let them know that these great products exist and with your help get them to try them.

Triple Eight Distillery's 5th Annual 8/8 @ 8pm Countdown

Triple Eight Distillery is broadening the tradition of their islandwide 888 Vodka Toast to include restaurants and liquor stores throughout the east coast. 88 establishments will participate this year.

At precisely 8pm ESTD on August 8th drinkers throughout New England will raise their glasses and salute a fine American distillery. Bartenders will hop up on their bars and read an ode to all things Nantucket , especially Triple Eight Vodka.

This year's signature cocktail will be Nantucket Tea, a new creation that is sweeping the island this summer. Start with equal parts Triple Eight Vodka and Triple Eight Orange, fill with Nantucket Nectars Lemonade, a splash of cranberry juice and float a dash of Hurricane Rum. The result is an irresistible cocktail with a Nantucket Red hue and a wonderfully refreshing flavor. Small samples will be passed to patrons just before 8pm on 8/8. When the clock strikes 8 O'clock down the hatch!

To make sure everyone is coordinated official Triple Eight countdown clocks will be placed at select restaurants throughout New England .

Folks all over are encouraged to participate. You don't need a countdown clock or a bar, just a bottle of 888 and some good friends. Last year people called the distillery from as far away as California to let us know they were throwing their own 8/8 @ 8pm party!

Welcome to another edition of ON TAP, the newsletter for friends of Cisco Brewers, Triple Eight Distillery and Nantucket Vineyard. We are gearing up for another great season on Nantucket. We have been busy all winter crafting fine libations for your enjoyment. We have also started construction on our new distillery.

Your consumer demand is what has allowed us to continue to grow off-island and broaden our offerings both on Nantucket and throughout New England.
