FOREVER NEW ENGLAND: THE PATRIOTS TEAM UP WITH CISCO BREWERS ON GAMEDAY IPA
This partnership marks the first craft beer collaboration for the Patriots and the Nantucket-born brewery.
BOSTON (Aug. 19, 2022) – Brewed to celebrate the tradition, legacy and the fans of the New England Patriots, Cisco Brewers announced today its launch of Forever New England Gameday IPA.
Forever New England Gameday IPA was created in collaboration with the Patriots, through a longstanding partnership between the Patriots and Anheuser-Busch – which Cisco Brewers is now a part of, after joining Anheuser-Busch’s Brewers Collective, in 2020. The craft brew marks the first professional sports partnership for Nantucket-born Cisco Brewers, as it expands its reach throughout Massachusetts and New England.
“At Cisco, we’ve always been a brewery that has brought people together for a good time,” said Matt O’Neill, General Manager at Cisco Brewers. “We’re pumped to continue that tradition by uniting New Englanders over the two things we all love: the Patriots and good craft beer.”
A sessionable, slightly hazy IPA at 5.4% ABV, Forever New England is brewed with Amarillo and Galaxy hops. The graphics for the packaged product – which will be available throughout New England in both 16oz can 4-packs and 12oz can 12-packs – will feature the Patriots’ throwback “Pat the Patriot” logo, which the team will feature on their throwback uniforms for select home games this year.
Adding another New England-born brand to the mix, Cisco is working with New Hampshire-based Green Mountain Taps to create a custom tap handle for the beer.
Forever New England will be available at Gillette Stadium and throughout Patriot Place throughout the 2022 season, as well as prominently featured at Cisco’s five pubs: Nantucket, Boston, New Bedford, Mass., Portsmouth, N.H. and Stamford, Conn.
